Restava is a bedtime routine and sound app provided by Hudley Holdings LLC. This policy explains what information Restava keeps on your device, what it sends to the two outside services it uses to run subscriptions and understand app usage, and the choices you have.
Information Stored on Your Device
Restava stores your sound settings, favorites, saved mixes and routines, bedtime preference, appearance settings, and reminder preferences locally on your device. It also keeps a small, bounded local log of recent app events and any optional helpfulness response you choose to give. That log stays on your device; it isn't sent to Hudley Holdings and exists only so the app can resume where you left off and so we can look at it together if you contact support about a bug.
A shared App Group lets the Restava widget show your bedtime preference and selected routine name. The routine identifier lets the widget open that routine in the app. Local app data may be included in your normal iOS device backup. You can change or delete saved mixes, favorites, routines, and reminders in the app. Deleting the app removes app-local data under iOS's normal app-removal behavior.
No Microphone or Sleep Recording
Restava does not use your microphone, record your bedroom, or measure sleep stages. It does not ask for contacts, photos, precise location, or an account to use its core features.
Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Restava requests permission only to write completed breathing sessions as mindful minutes. Restava does not request permission to read Health data. You can change this permission in the Health app or iPhone Settings. Health data stays on your device and in Apple Health; it is not sent to RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck, or used for advertising.
Notifications
Bedtime and trial reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device. Restava does not send notification content to Hudley Holdings. iOS decides whether and when a scheduled notification is delivered.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes payment for Restava Plus; Restava never sees your payment card number. Restava uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and manage subscription state. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user ID that Restava generates; it does not receive your name, email address, or Apple ID, and that app user ID is not derived from your Apple ID. This data is used only to determine whether Restava Plus is active on your device. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings. Analytics and TelemetryDeck
Restava uses TelemetryDeck to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used, such as which screens and features people open, and to see whether the app is working correctly. TelemetryDeck receives the name of each event, such as a breathing session finishing, a sound session starting, or which subscription plan was viewed, along with basic device details: app version, iOS version, device model, and language. The identifier sent with it is hashed on your phone before it leaves, so it can't be traced back to you. It does not receive your name, email address, the names of sounds, mixes or routines, anything you type, Health data, or your location. You can turn this off anytime in the You tab under "Share anonymous usage data". Read TelemetryDeck's privacy policy at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.
No Tracking, No Ads, Nothing Sold
Restava does not show third-party advertisements and does not use an advertising SDK. RevenueCat and TelemetryDeck are configured for app functionality and analytics only, not for tracking you across other companies' apps or websites, and neither is linked to your identity. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-app advertising purposes.
Data Retention and Deletion
Data saved only on your device, such as your mixes, routines, and preferences, stays there until you change it or delete the app. RevenueCat and TelemetryDeck retain the purchase and usage data described above under their own retention schedules, detailed in their privacy policies linked above. To ask us to request deletion of data tied to your Restava usage from RevenueCat or TelemetryDeck, email restava@hudleyholdings.com with your platform and approximate purchase or install date so we can identify the right record.
Children's Privacy
Restava does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Restava changes. We will post the revised policy here and update its "last updated" date above.
